Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a sweet 1973 Fender Telecaster with the OHSC.  What a great playing and sounding Tele with an awesome pro Jumbe refret.  If you love 70's Teles, but hate the low and narrow frets, this may be the ticket.  The original hardshell case has all the hinges intact and the latches keep it all locked down. It has a bit of a story, but first the specs.

The nut measures 1.62", the 1st fret is .82" deep and it grows to .88" at the 12th.  It's your typical lovely 70's U carve that fits the hand so well and gives great access with moderate shoulders.   It's a pair of 1980 Fender Tele pickups that sound fantastic with that signature 70's twang.  The Bridge reads 6.23 ohms on the meter and the neck is at 7.73 ohms. 9.4 lbs.  It's a fantastic pro refret with .105" Jumbo frets that are just starting to show wear in the middle of the fretboard but has no dead spots.  A great player with much of it's life still ahead.

It sports it's original finish, original bridge assembly, original tuners, and original pots, plate, jack cup and switch.  The neck dates to 1973, pots are July of 1969 Nylon shaft CTS 250k, the 3 way switch is a Centralab.  The pickguard is a Fender replacement, at least three pickguard screws are not original.  A few of the tuners are very rough as is typical of the F tuners.  We did clean and lube them and they do get the job done, but a set of modern replacements would improve the tuning experience.

This guitar was once owned by Javier Martin del Campo of the 70's hard rock group from Mexico - La Revolution de Emiliano Zapata.  It was brought to the states by his friend and neighbor in Mexico and he brought it to us.  No COA, just a story.
