Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1996 Fender Jazzmaster JM66-70 from the 90's and Crafted in Japan.  This is an odd serial number in that it's an N0XXXX which would put it at 1990-91, but it's got the early CIJ label so who knows.  The neck pocket stamp is a JM66-70 which last appeared in the catalogs in 1990-92 ish.  The tone woods include an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a Rosewood fretboard with vintage spec frets.  The Japan Vintage Pickups deliver that signature soft and smooth Jazzmaster tone.

The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .82"-.91" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's Fender's Oval C carve that's so familiar and comfortable.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  She plays cleanly on freshly polished frets, a clean and conditioned fretboard, and a new set of Ernie Ball Heavy Bottom Nickel strings .010-.052.  The tremolo arm is an aftermarket replacement for Japan Fender.  7.9 lbs, Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.

All our guitars are deep cleaned and receive a professional service and setup.  You will not get a filthy guitar from us.  There are scattered chips, scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with a little fretwear in a few spots in the cowboy chord area but it plays cleanly up and down the board with no unwarranted buzzing or dead spots.  A pleasure to play and we love the pepperoni guard.

We offer a 7 day money-back return on all used guitars. Buy with confidence.

All guitars are guaranteed to arrive in the condition as described, and a full refund will be issued if not.  Additionally, all our guitars are fully insured, and we will assist with any claims that may arise.  See the details on our Storefront.
