Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Left Handed Fender Telecaster 1972 Reissue with a light Ash body and a premium Momose case shown in the photos. These Fujigen crafted marvels feature the great TL Japan pickups that read 6.1 ohms at the neck and 5.2 at the bridge. Great tone as expected from Fujigen. The bold grain resonant Sen Ash body has a great look and feel. These Fujigen made reissued punch way above their weight and easily compare to the top tier American products of the era and dare we say even outshine the actual 1972 offerings.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .84-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an oval C profile that fits like a glove. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.82 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished and the intonation is accurate. It plays cleanly on a fresh set of D'Addario EXL 10-46 nickel strings. We love all the vintage vibe this one has. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
