Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super rare and clean 1980 Greco Thunderbird Bass Model TB-900 in Tobacco Sunburst in the original case with key and including the owner's manual, retailers warranty card, and hang tags. It's extremely uncommon to find one of these outside of Japan and almost unheard of to get the case and candy with it. The pickup is really great, delivering tone for days and reading 9.4k ohms on the meter. All original sans the pickup mounting screws.
The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .81"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C profile you will love. 34" scale, 10" radius, 8.6 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with 45-105 roundwound nickel strings. Action is low at 1.9mm and 1.6mm and it plays cleanly on leveled, crowned and polished frets. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes with the original case and all the candy in the photos.
