Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to bring you a freshly refretted 1973 Fender Telecaster Custom in Mocha with the owner's manual and an original Fender case. The case sports the logo with the tail as this was still right around the time they dropped the tail. These are known for being boat anchors, but this one weighs in at only 7.99lbs. It's an Alder body mated to a maple neck that's very well balanced and acoustically loud and complex.
These iconic beauties sport the standard Tele bridge pickup paired with a Seth Lover designed Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker. The Wide Range Buckers deliver loads of warm top end detail and pairs perfectly with the wild Tele Twang of the bridge. 10.73 ohms at the bridge, 5.88 at the neck.
The nut measures 1.61", 7.25" radius, the fret depth is .85"-.95" on a chunky C profile that has a D carve up in the dusty area. Professionally set up on a fresh set of nickel 10-46s, low action, and perfect intonation. It's a lovely playing experience on an iconic classic.
