Northwest Vintage Guitars proudly presents a near mint Yamaha L12NS from 1977.  These beauties are all solid wood construction with Solid African Mahogany Back and Sides and a Solid spruce top mated to a solid Mahogany neck.  Ebony adorns the fretboard and the bridge and pearloid inlays grace them both.  The graceful mustache inlays around the saddle and the big block inlays are more than a nod to Gibson's Golden Era Western Acoustics.   We haven't decided what species the bird is, but you can weigh in.  The important thing is that this guitar plays like a dreams with low action, no buzzing, and an amazing sound that stacks up against any fancy pickguard Jumbo out there.  It's seriously that good.  There's a reason Yamaha is called the Gibson of Japan.

The nut measures 1.76", the neck depth is .91"-1.00" on a chunky soft V profile that fits the hand like a glove and feels like something from 70+ years ago.  2 mm action on the Bass side, 1.75 mm on the treble for low, smooth playing action.  The saddle is low and grooved for improved breakover angle and there is remaining adjustability up or down.  She has a couple tiny, almost inperceptible finish flaws that really can't be seen or photographed and she remains in excellent overall condition.  Comes safely and securely packed in the original hardshell case in the photos.
