Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a near mint 1976 Yamaha SA700 Semi-Hollow body ES335 style with the original hard case. These 335 killers are every bit the contender to the big boys and everyone that plays them in the shop is blown away with the tone. They feature Yamaha's proprietary SA700 Humbuckers that deliver that woody clear 335 tone that warms the soul. The pickups read 6.8k ohms at the neck, and 6.7k ohms at the bridge. This one looks like it spent a lifetime in it's case under the bed.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .83"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C profile that most folks love. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.98 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing with low action at 3/64"and 2.5\64". Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case in the photos.
