Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1960 Fender Telecaster Custom Shop Relic that was custom ordered by Dave's Guitar Shop and spec'd out with an Ash body and Hand Wound '58 Pickups that sound incredible. And it included a boat load of case candy including a Custom Shop Strap as pictured. The select lightweight body and Flatsawn Canadian Maple neck yield a svelte 7.22 lb Tele that is perfectly balanced and exceptionally resonant. It's a Vintage Blonde Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish that's aged to perfection. We love the Medium Jumbo 6150 frets and the Cites AAA Slab Rosewood Fretboard - such a pleasure to play. This was a custom ordered item that took 10 months to build. No disappointments here.
The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .80"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a 60's style Oval C neck profile that feels exactly like a pre-CBS Tele. 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 7.22 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or buzzing.
