1961 Fender Super 6G4-A Brownface w/Original Speakers and Iron

Northwest Vintage Guitars is very proud to bring you a cherry 1961 Fender Super with original iron and the original speakers. Sell them do we see a brown face in such tidy and presentable condition. we opted to have it serviced by our Amp tech with high-quality Mallory replacement capacitors. There’s a complete write up of all the work done by our amp Tech in the photos. But let’s talk about the sound. You see the wall of Amps in the background of our photos, right? And there’s more in the other room. None of them sound as good as Amp. Not the Blackface Deluxe Reverb, not the Marshalls or the Silverface Twin, not the Super Reverb, none of them hold a candle to this one. It has vintage tubes and all the right places. Original iron all the way around. And yes, the power transformer is original as Fender was using Triad transformers in the early stages of the brownface production. This amp idles quietly and every component has been checked to ensure they are within spec. Just an incredible example of an incredible model. The cover is a modern replacement and there is one modern replacement knob. Other replacements are detailed in the repair sheet in the photos. No disappointments.
