Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1962 Fender Jazz Bass Reissue model JB62-70 from Fender Japan's Vintage Collection and featuring a solid Alder body, a Canadian Maple neck, and a Rosewood fretboard. These gems have US Vintage voiced Jazz Bass pickups that deliver vintage tone in spades. The neck reads 5.6k ohms and the bridge dials in at 6.0. You get that JB thump, honk and expressiveness you've been craving. It received a deep cleaning and a full pro setup in our shop.
The nut measures 1.51", neck depth is .80"-.95 at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an oval C profile that most folks find agreeable. 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 9.12 lbs. Freshly strung with 45-105 nickel roundwounds and accurately intonated. The frets have virtually no fretwear and we polished them up. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the new Fender padded Gig Bag in the photos.
