1966 Fender Mustang Sonic Blue Refin

Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a looker of a Sonic Blue Fender Mustang from 1966. It features all original electronics and that signature Mustang sound. And check out that Brazilian rosewood fretboard. At some point the neck was refinished and a later era decal was added. The original tuners are long gone so we fitted some Gotoh Kluson style tuners that are far better than the originals ever hoped to be. The whammy bar is also nonoriginal. The frets received a recent leveling and crowning and are playable with no dead spots and low action. Probably the last time they'll be leveled. The 1966 stamp is on the end of the neck heel but we failed to photograph that. It's there. Also included is the original case. We consider this a grade instrument that would be a great entry-level vintage investment.
