Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present a great sounding Blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb with all original iron, and a wonderful compliment of maintenance related components. The photos tell the tale; high quality replacement capacitors and resistors only where it was needed and preserving many of the original signal path components. Our tech found the eyelet board was conductive so the board was removed, cleaned and decontaminated, and expertly reinstalled. The amp has a low noise floor and operates flawlessly.  JJ tubes throughout, power section is a matched set of Eurotubes JJ’s.  JJ’s in the power section give a very open and steely sound, and we love it. There is a replaced standby switch, some touched up grounds, and all of the pots have been cleaned. The Amp is properly biased and ready for professional use. All original iron dates to 1966. The Jensen C12NA Speaker dated the 48th week of 1966 is non original. It was removed from a 67 Bassman 2X12 cab and the cone design is more robust than the standard C12N and it helps tame the woofiness associated with the C12N at high volumes. It’s a great match for the DR and still retains the glassy crisp highs we know and love. The grill cloth is an aged Mojotone replacement. The tube chart tells us this amp left the factory in March of 1967.
