NW Vintage guitars brings you a 1 of 136 made in Japan Dreadnaught Player. Epiphone Excellente's of the 70's we're built by Matsumoku of Japan and closely mirrored the Aria Acoustics of the day. They feature traditional lightly braced X Bracing, Rosewood back and sides with a spruce laminate top. The back on this one is spectacular with wild grain and figuring in the Rosewood, and a Flamed Chestnut center.  She has her share of bumps and bruises, but she wears them well. A bit of fret wear, but it feels like a worn in baseball glove. Action set at 3 mm on the low E, 2.3 mm on the high E. The frets are in decent shape and the truss rod works. Clear and bold sound. Comes safely packed in the Gig Bag in the photos.

There are scattered dings, dents, scratches and chips as pictured.  The bridge has been removed and reglued.
