Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare 1972 Fender Telecaster Reissue model TL72 in 3 Tone Sunburst and featuring the vintage voiced TL Vintage pickups. You get plenty of 70's specs including the stamped steel bridge, notched steel saddles, black pickguard, and a great medium C profile neck that really feels authentic. The pickups have great chime and spank without being spikey measuring 6.1k ohms at the neck and 5.2k ohms at the bridge. Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .86"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a nice medium C carve. 25.5" scale, 7.2" radius, 7.9 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings it plays cleanly on leveled, crowned, and polished frets. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and finish fills as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
