NW vintage Guitars is always excited to bring you early Yamaha Nippon Gakki flat tops. This FG 130 is an OM size offering and has the Tan Made in Japan label. These are very lightly braced, lam Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides. Somwhere around an OM or 00 size measuring 15x9.25x11 and 4" deep. It's a great compact size with a big voice.
The nut measures 1.75" and there is barely any wear on the frets. Action is at 7/64" - 3mm at the 12th and the bridge has been shaved. There's decent saddle height leftand it plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with no dead spots. The neck carve is a Chunky C as is typical of these early Yamaha offerings.
