Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean Rider R-300 Dreadnaught with a solid Ezo Spruce top, laminate Rosewood back and sides. These were made in Matsumoku (Japan) by Hayashi and were valued for their solid construction and durability. This one ships in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .89"-1.10" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It has a prominent Soft V profile that feels very vintage. 25.5" Scale, 20" Radius, 4.6 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. This received a full professional setup and service (a $250 value) by our Master Luthier and has excellent playability. The frets have been leveled, dressed and finished to a high polish for a great playing experience. USA made 12-53 phosphor bronze strings. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
