Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a lovely 1977 Made in Japan Nippon Gakki Yamaha FG-151 Dreadnaught with X-bracing. The FG151 is a Martin Dreadnaught sized flat top with a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. This one features a very thin clearcoat finish that has sunken into the very tight uniform grain. The result is a clear and deep tonality with excellent projection and a cool vintage look.
The nut measures 1.75", it's .93" at the first, and 1.07 at the 12th with a very Martin feeling carve. It's a deep super soft V that remains consistent up the 25" scale Rosewood fretboard. It has perfect action at 2.6 mm. The bridge has been shaved slightly and the pins are high quality ebony replacements with abalone inlays. It sounds great and it's loud. Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
