Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a great playing and clean 1978 Fender Precision Bass in Natural finish over a very resonant Ash Body. It features the original Grey Bobbin Fender PBass pickup readin 6.45k ohms and can fill the room with rumble or honk. We love these 70's Ash bodied P Basses for their resonance. Hard to beat. The case is a really nice aftermarket with substantial hinges and latches.
The nut measures 1.64", neck depth is .85"-1.01" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's your Fender 70's medium C that everyone loves. 34" Scale, 7.25" radius, 9.9 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished to perfection. The back of the neck and fretboard have been refinished in Urethane Lacquer and are far less sticky than the factory finish. It received a professional setup from our Master Luthier. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
