Northwest Vintage Guitars is stoked to bring you a 1980 Greco GO II 750 in a striking natural finish. Born from the 70's love affair with neck through multi laminate construction, high mass metal parts, and density for sustain, the Greco GO II series embodies all the Jerry Garcia-esque mystique one could handle. Throw in a compliment of multiple pickups, knobs, and swithces and everything seems possible. The deep bold grain Sen Ash body is striking to say the least. We've seen quite a few but this one is just incredible. And at only 8.02 pounds, it's a bit on the light side for the era.
The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .84".92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets have been levelled, recrowned, and polished to perfection. It plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with no issues, no unwarranted buzzing, and no dead spots. All our guitars are deep cleaned and receive a professional service and setup. You will not get a filthy guitar from us.
There are scattered dents, dings and scratches as pictured. It looks like there was once a fingerboard separation that was reglued in the 13-24 fret area on the bass side. It it solid and it plays cleanly with no hump there. Electronics and knobs are all original. Whammy arm is a non original replacement. Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.
