Northwest Vintage Guitars is stoked to bring you a 1979 Greco GO II 750 in the dark stain that everyone loves. Born from the 70's love affair with neck through multi laminate construction, high mass metal parts, and density for sustain, the Greco GO II series embodies all the Jerry Garcia-esque mystique one could handle. Throw in a compliment of multiple pickups, knobs, and swithces and everything seems possible. The deep bold grain Sen Ash body is striking to say the least. We've seen quite a few but this one is just incredible. And at only 8.6 pounds, it's a bit on the light side for the era.
She received a full service in our tech shop including a fret level and dress, intonation, cleaned electronics, and cleaned in it's deepest recesses. She's ready to roll. The nut measures 1.695", the nut measures .83"-.91" on a medium C profile. The pickups are so versatile you can dial in a myriad of killer tones to please any listener. The tremolo is surprisingly usable with a silky smooth feel and flawless operation to add that little shimmer. The truss rod works as it should and has room to adjust either way. There is no wonkiness or twists in the neck, no cracks or repairs. Only a few dents and dings around the bout and some added side markers as pictured. Tremolo bar is a Fender USA Jaguar spec. Comes safely and securely packed in the case in the photos.
