Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to bring you a very clean 1979 Marshall MKII Super Lead 100w amp that has been fully serviced. The Electrolytics were making a lot of noise, so we had the Wizard rectify the issue. The result is a rockin ready 100w Marshall Head with only one mod: a line out. It had an effects loop at one time, but the line out made more sense so we left it. Everything else has been returned to stock. Full compliment of new Mullard tubes.
There is a reason why this iteration of Marshalls famous 100w circuit was favored by the likes of Jeff Beck, Billie Joe Armstrong and Joe Satriani. This amp was the basis for those that came after it. The JCM 800, 900, Jubilee, etc. This one started it all with a Master Volume that opened up worlds of overdriven tube distortion to us. No disappointments.
