Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a great Early model Yamaha L-5 Acoustic with a solid Ezo spruce top. The L-5 features great craftsmanship and high quality materials and was a mainstay in Yamaha's acoustic lineup for decades. It features a Coral Rosewood Laminate sides and back, a dark bound Rosewood fretboard, and an Ebony bridge. It has high quality Yamaha tuners, and some added brass bridge pins.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .91"-1.02" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very vintage feeling soft V neck profile that feels much older. 25.5" scale, 15" radius, 4.88 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the hard case in the photos.
