Northwest Vintage Guitars is seeing double with this 1980 Aria Pro II SGW Setneck SG style Doubleneck in Vintage White.  It's a very rare and uncommon model with the Aria Pro II label, but more well known as the Greco SGW1300 as both were likely made by Kanda Shokai in Japan.  It's a faithful recreation of the timeless Gibson classic.  It's a Mahogany body, a Mahogany 3-piece neck, a Rosewood fretboard with the split paralellogram inlays, and vintage style appointments all the way around.

These are fitted with Aria's MK T top pickups, the same pickups that grace their legendary PE series of carved top single cuts.  They feature a "T" on the bobbin just like the Gibson T Tops (the script is larger on Aria).  And just like so many Japanese copies of Gibson, they nail that T top sound.  They all measure in the 7.9-8.0 range on both necks.  They have a clear and shimmery top end with great dynamics, a honky mid scoop, and deep, thumpy bass.  Very well matched for the 12 string especially. We wasted a lot of time playing this one.

The nuts both measure 1.74", both are .83" at the first fret, .97" at the 12th on a Chunky C carve that fits like a glove with a very vintage feel.  There is very little playwear on the frets at all.  They have a very nice crown and polish with no dead spots or buzzing.  No divots, no wonkiness.   Both truss rods have been set for a very flat, optimal relief.  The 6 String truss rod has room to adjust eaither way, the 12 string is near max and near flat.  They both play fantastic.  There is a repaired nut on the 12 string bass side, there are a couple paint fills as shown.  Plenty of options for a strap location and two strap locks are included.   11.5 lbs.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hardshell case in the photos.
