Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a great playing and sounding TF Morris D80 12-String from 1980. These were crafted in Japan by Morris and feature a solid Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a Mahogany neck with a gorgeous dark Rosewood fretboard. The Rosewood sides and back are rosewood ply - that is all 3 layers are Rosewood. No Luan or "Parawood." Only tonewoods. The B80 was one rung below the top of the line and uber rare B100 in their 180 catalog. It's a classy guitar with a top notch sound and low action. Comes safely packed in the case in the photos.
The nut measures 7.92", neck depth is .95"-1.06" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C profile with moderate shoulders. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The action is very low at 1.5 mm on the low E but all notes ring clear with a light or moderate touch. 24.7" scale, 16" fretboard radius. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. There is a finish repair on the upper bout and finish hazing behing the bridge for what looks like a sticker. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
