Northwest Vintage guitars drug home another gem from Tokyo for your consideration.  This time its a fantastic 1980 Yamaha "Custom Shop" Grand Concert GC-7 hand crafted by Japan's legendary luthier, Hideyuki Ezaki.

From the web;

This guitar is a great example of Hideyuki Ezaki’s expert craftsmanship. deep basses, clear but colorful trebles, all notes well separated,  Very well balanced and impressive sustain. Guitar is loud and very responsive. IT IS TRULY GRAND CONCERT!

This guitar was priced 70 000 yen in 1980.

Currently internationally distributed Yamahas GC32 or GC32C are simply no match to this “old faithful” GC7 from 1980.

This guitar despite being 40 years old remains in overall very good condition. Its top and back bears several but very small dents and very shallow scratches within the finish. There are few light abrasions on the very tip of the headstock. Everything else remains in excellent condition.
