Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1980 Yamaha L6 Dreadnought made in Japan with a solid Spruce top and Laminate Indian Rosewood back and Sides. The L Series competes very well with high end offerings from other manufacturers of the period. We gave her a new saddle and glued up a couple cracked braces so she's solid and ready for years of dependable service with good breakover angle and freshly dressed frets. Comes safely packed in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .93"-1.05" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C profile that feels great. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets have been leveled and polished and she wears a new set of D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 12's that ring loud and clear. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
