Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present a gem from Yamaha's Luxury Line of acoustics, the 1980 L10.  Solid Ezo Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, all hide glue construction, and a Nitrocellulose gloss finish.   Yamaha used the best materials and tried and true construction methods to create a classic that competed with the Martin D28.  All hide glue construction, dovetail neck joint, one piece mahogany neck, and that dark Ebony Fretboard.  It all comes neatly packed in the original hardshell case with all working latches, the key, and the original shoulder strap.

These L series acoustics never disappoint and this one put on a show here in the workshop.  It's bold, it's clear, crisp, and warm with an even tonality throughout.  Note separation and clarity is fantastic.  A great playing and sounding guitar.

The neck profile is a a very vintage V profile that measures 1.75" at the nut, .91" neck depth at the first fret, .96" at the 12th.  The frets are just now starting to show a little wear but no large divots or dead spots.  The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions and relief is set for optimum playability.  There is great saddle height and no buzzing.  It's a joy to play.  And it looks like a million bucks with that intricate marquetry binding.  It's set up with a fresh set of USA Nickel 12-52 and ready to roll.  Comes safely packed in the original hardshell case in the photos.
