Solid mahogany body, Canadian Maple neck, and a Walnut skunk stripe. It's the complete package and ready to rock. These are the Yamaha workhorses with the proprietary 8 pole single coil pickups that deliver all the funky bass tones one could ever need. And this one is in fantastic condition. The neck pickup reads 7.04k ohms, and the bridge dials in at 7.19k. They are warm, articulate, and punchy. Great tone.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .83"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a chunky P-Bass C profile that you'll love. 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 9.6 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Thomastik strings. Action is at 2.0mm-1.5mm and it plays flawlessly. It received a full fret level, dress and polish. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns easily in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few polishing marks as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots. If you like your basses clean and playable with low action, this is the one you want.
