Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a clean Morris TF-801 D41 Style Dreadnaught in fantastic shape with the hangs tags, original price tag, warranty card, and original hardshell case.  It's in great shape and ready to play.  By the time the 1982 Morris catalog went to print, the W - series instruments had been replaced by the TF- line.  Production for the TF lines went to the famed Matsumoku factory where Morris' designs and top quality materials were turned into masterpieces.

This Dread has a very well balanced tone with good projection.  It sounds really great and shines.  Excellent low mid, bass and a clear warm top end.  It punches far above it's weight class.

Solid Spruce top that provides a tight, well-sustained mid response with clear highs and a rich bottom.  Two ply Semi Solid Jacaranda (Rosewood) sides and back with a two-ply flame Chestnut center.  This isn't your typical 3ply laminate but rather two thin plates of tonewood press glued with the grain in the same direction.  The result is a tonally superior product commonly for referred to as semi-solid.   Diecast Gold Morris branded tuners.  Abalone fret marker inlays.  Original hang tag and price tag are included with the original case and the slick shoulder strap for those crosstown trips on your Vespa to play at the cafe. Medium action at 2.2 mm low E, 1.7 mm high E. A lifting bridge was repaired and there are no issues with good saddle height and a solid bridge plate.  1.70" nut,  .88"-1.05" neck depth on a very vintage feeling soft V neck and the vestigial birds mouth joint like the Martins.  It has X Bracing just like a D41.

And check out the original case with the nickel hardware and Ostrich print strap.   So cool.
