Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a cool Fender Strat model ST-62 55 made in Japan by Fujigen in 1989 or 90. Someone swapped in some CTS pots and a 57 single ply pickguard and kept the ST Vintage Pickups that sound oh so good. All the vintage strat tones are here. And you get the bridge pickup wired to the tone control for some great quacky plucky tone not available otherwise. It feels vintage with the rolled fretboard edges, vintage tint gloss, and the aged plastics. She's got a fresh set of nickel 10's on polished frets.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .82"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a comfy medium C profile that feels much like an early 60's strat - thin around the cowboy chord area growing thicker right away and finishing at a full .95". The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 7.4 lbs, comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
There are scattered dings, scratches and small dents as pictured. Finish fill on the horn as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition.
