Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a rare offering from Fender Japan's "Order Made" Program at Fujigen in 1991.   It's a resonant Ash body with a dark stain to look like a Rosewood Tele.  Unlike the original Rosewood Teles that could tease 11 lbs, this one weighs only 8.05 lbs.   It's a stained maple neck with a dark Rosewood fretboard that looks and feels the part.  The Order Made program allowed customers to order any combination of woods, colors, and specs, but this one was a very limited run estimated at around 20 units.  The best luthiers at Fujigen were chosen for the honor of working in the Order Made shop.  It's Fender Japan's Custom Shop.

The neck has a medium C profile with moderate shoulders.  Neck depth is .86"-.91" for a comfy playing experience.  The truss rod works as it should and turns in both directions.  There is no wonkiness or abnormalities to the neck.  She has a few bumps and bruises, but she wears them well.  The neck pickup reads 7.0 ohms and the neck reads 6.1 ohms with plenty of Fender twang and crisp clean wonderfulness.  Turn up the V knob and the bridge pickup can breath fire.  It comes safely packed in the cool vintage gig bag in the photos.  There is clouding under the clear coat as pictured.
