Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare 1992 Heritage H537 Semi Hollow with a beautiful flamed Maple body in Natural finish. These are rare birds from the early days of Heritage before all the buyouts. It would eventually become the basis for the Heritage Roy Clark model. Roy always had great taste. But these early models come with the desirable Heritage HRW Humbuckers that set them apart from later iterations. And they're fantastic. Articulate yet warm, open yet full. Crazy good.
It's a Flamed Maple laminate double bound body that's only 1.5" thick! Like an Ultra Thin ES350 with a Mickey ear. What a cool mish-mash of vintage features and modern playability. The neck is a one piece Mahogany with a bound Rosewood fretboard. The Vintage Patina on the Grover tuners looks the part.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .80"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The profile is a very comfy slim taper C. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There's a tiny bit of fret wear that's hard to detect on freshly polished frets. It plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with no unwarranted buzzing and no dead spots. Easy to play on low action. 2V, 2T, and a 3 way toggle. 24.75" Scale, 12" Radius, 8.05 lbs. Comes safely packed in the non original hard shell case in the photos.
