Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a mean and clean 1996 Guyatone Sharp 5 Anniversary Reissue model LG-2100M Mk III with the original hard case and docs. The Sharp 5 features an Alder bopdy, a Maple neck, and an Ebony fretboard with Acrylic Star inlays. Super cool. And this iteration is a far cry better than it's 60's ancestor with the premium woods, full bodied single coils, and a floating Strat style tremolo. You even get a roller nut to help everything stay in tune. It's a surprisingly great guitar with excellent playability.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .82"-.89" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very comfy and accessible medium C profile. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 1V, 1T, 3 way, and a push/pull on the tone to activate the middle pickup. 24.75" scale, 14" radius, med jumbo frets. The middle pickup adds body and fullness to any position. It's a nice setup with a myriad of usable positions.
There are a few dings, chips, finish discoloration, clear coat wear, and scratches as pictured. The pickguard is cracked as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with only slight wear detected on the freshly polished frets and new nickel 9.5s.
