The Yamano Les Pauls are some of the best kept secrets out there. Yamano had a lot of pull at Gibson and were able to order special spec models, custom finishes, and upgraded appointments. They are Gibson's largest distributor to the world's second largest guitar market. Think of them as the Wildwood of Japan. This model features a gorgeous flame maple top, deep Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, and PAF Sticker Burstbucker Pros that read 7.4 ohms at the neck and 8.02 at the bridge. Excellent woody and deep PAF tone. And it includes the warranty card, floor rider, truss rod wrench, and the original case as pictured.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .86"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a killer full C profile that fits the hand like a glove. Not too big, not too small, it's just right. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 9.6 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for an amazing playing experience. Accurately intonated Fender nickel 10-46 strings are a breeze to play on perfect 1.7 mm and 1.3 mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case in the photos.
