Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer Slope Shoulder 2004 Gibson J45 Orange Label with Scalloped Bracing and an under saddle pickup. This is much like the Custom Shop versions with the Orange Label. It features a solid Sitka Spruce top, and Solid Honduran Mahogany back and sides. The Scalloped bracing makes it light, airy, and booming. The J45 has long been Gibson's workhorse Dreadnought for a good reason - top notch materials, expert craftsmanship, and a time tested design. This is a good one with a great voice. There's an unbranded under saddle pickup with a 9v battery and no volume of tone controls. Comes with the original hard case and the Gibson Gold Warranty card. No disappointments.
The nut measures 1.74", neck depth is .83"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the venerable Gibson C profile that everyone knows and loves. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25.5" Scale, 12" radius, 4.42 lbs. Professionally set up with D'Adarrio Phosphor Bronze 12-56 strings. Action is at factory spec 5/34" and 4/64". There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
