Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare 2007 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue Plain Top with the perfect faded Cherry Sunburst and a striking Madagascar Rosewood fretboard. This choice axe belongs to our own Drew Brereton. Drew is a local professional guitarist who plays in no less than 8 bands. He has a lot of guitars and although this one has seen some action, he's got his eyes on the next one - you understand.
The 2008 series Custom Shop LPs feature the CS Burstbucker pickups. Drew installed a Nylon Nut and tuners from Historic Makeovers.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .90-1.01" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the quintessential 58 C profile. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 9.5 lbs. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
