Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a lovely Martin DSS-17 in wonderful shape and with very little playwear.  Martin puts it this way; "The DSS-17 Whiskey Sunset Dreadnought slope-shoulder model boasts a rich, warm sunburst finish that will delight any player with its aesthetic beauty. It is skillfully crafted from a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with antique white binding. It features a modified low oval neck with a high-performance taper for added comfort and includes a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, scalloped bracing, and an old-style script logo on the headstock. The DSS-17 Whiskey Sunset produces beautiful, dynamic tones that will please the most discerning musician."

The nut measures 1.74", neck depth is .81"-.90" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  It has very low action due to a shaved saddle.  1.5mm on the low E, 1.0mm on the high E so it's low like an electric.  It plays surprisingly well with no dead spots and freshly polished frets.

There is a professionally repaired top crack as pictured.  It is cleated and solid as a rock.  Otherwise in great shape exhibiting no noticeable scratches or dings.
