Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and mint 2024 Fender Japan LTD Cyclone with all the tags and plastic protecto film on the pickguard and back plate. These MIJ versions are not anything like their MIM or Squier predecessors. They feature an Ash body, Canadian Maple neck with a dark slab Rosewood fretboard, and Custom MIJ Cyclone HB and Single coil that deliver tone for days. These are very rare and were made in limited numbers in 2024 and sold in select stores in the Japanese Domestic market. Hard to find even in Japan. The pickups are rich, smooth and punchy reading 10.33 ohms at the neck and 10.19 at the bridge. The Ash body delivers an acoustic chime and clarity when unplugged.
The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .83"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C profile that will feel familiar to most. 24.75" Scale, 9.5" radius, 7.4 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It is in mint condition and includes the original gig bag and paperwork pictured.
