Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present an amazing 2016 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Pro Closet Classic with an Abigail Ybarra handwound bridge pickup and a Lollar Imperial neck pickup. The combo is deadly. The Abby Bridge pickup is the best Tele bridge we've heard in a long time. Deep and warm with excellent clarity and chime. The Lollar in the neck matches it perfectly and there's a parity in the output that's not easy to obtain with a Humbucker on a Tele. 9.8 ohms at the bridge, 6.9 ohms at the neck. Excellent pairing.
It's a modern C profile neck profile that is super comfy and easy to get around on. The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .81"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It's a compound radius fret board that starts at 10 inches and ends up at 14. Very little fret wear on freshly polished frets and a new set of Elixer 10's. The RSC Bridge is a rare spec item.
It's a 2 piece lightweight Ash body, Canadian Maple Neck, and a dark Rosewood Fretboard. The Nitrocellulose finish is aged to perfection with bold, natural finish checking. 6.9 lbs. Comes safely packed in the OHSC with the accessories and documentation in the photos.
