Such a great Strat in near mint condition with the Fender branded Gig bag. These Fender Japan offerings were produced for the Japanese domestic market and other select martkets internationally. They were not intended for the US market. This allows Fender to offer high quality instruments around the world. But they wont let the MIJ guitars into the states to compete with US and Mexico guitars because they are just too good. Easily equal to Fender USA in quality, in many cases the MIJ Fenders compare closely to Fender Custom shops.
The nut measures 1.67", .87"-.97" on the neck depth on a true mid 50's big C carve with ample shoulder. It feels like a 50's strat in the hand. It's a 9.5" radius on 21 vintage spec frets. You get all the vintage appointments with the Kluson style vintage tuners, 50's vintage decal, single ply white pickguard, and that sumptuous 2 tone sunburst that graced the earliest stratocasters. There's 3 Vintage style Japan Single coils with the 5 way switch that do that Strat thing from Jimi to Clapton. You also get full size CTS pots. No playing issues, straight neck and working truss rod. A joy to play. Includes the original whammy bar, original Fender branded Gig Bag, owner's manual and warranty.
