Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 7.2lb Fender Standard Stratocaster from 2014 Made in Japan with the warranty card, trem arm, and padded Fender soft case. It's a very nice light Basswood body with defined grain that really makes the 3 tone sunburst pop. You get vintage and modern appointments with the Fender Japan ST Single Coil pickups that sound great.
The nut measures 1.67" ,fret depth is .85"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets repactively. It's the modern U neck profile that feels a lot like an early 70's carve but with more shoulder up high. Very cool and very comfy. The pickups deliver that signature strat chime and spank with plenty of drive when needed. Only a little fret wear is starting and she plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with no dead spots and no unwarranted buzzing. An easy playing experience on a fresh set of USA made Nickel 10-46 strings and perfect intonation. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 7.2 lbs, comes packed in the padded soft case in the photos.
