Northwest Vintage Guitars proudly presents a gem of an X-Braced 70's Japan Dreadnaught in this K Country D-350C including the original hardshell case with the groovy yellow lining. K Country was one of the brands Kasuo Momose crafted while in a partnership with Kasuga Musical instruments. Spruce top, Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, and a gorgeous Abalone inlaid Rosewood fretboard. Beautiful guitar with a beautiful sound.
The nut measures a familiar 1.75" and the headstock is more than a nod to Martin. .85" at the 1st fret, 1.05" at the 10th fret on a very vintage feeling V carve that fits the hand like a glove. Action is set very low for a light touch. There's a slight rise in the fretboard around the 12th fret that has been dressed out and she plays reall well unless you really lean into it. So if you're heavy handed just let us know and we can install a taller saddle at no charge. There's slight dip around the sound hole, but she's stable and a great player. Laminate consrtuction.
