Northwest Vintage Guitars is pleased to present an early Airline Town and Country with a super cool vintage era correct case. The Airline brand was made by Kay and sold in Montgomery Wards stores and catalogs. The original humbuckers are all they’re cracked up to be - great clarity at low volumes, aggressive punchiness when dimed. Think of Jack White meets JB Hutto. someone replaced the pots with modern CTS models. The rest of the electronics are original. It’s set up with nice low action at 1.7mm and 1.2 mm and has no dead spots with minimal buzzing when leaning into it. The neck has about the perfect amount of relief.  24.5" scale, 12" radius, and there's about 70% fret life left.  It’s a great player as is with room to raise the action.  And it's a chambered body so it's only 6.9 lbs!

The nut measures 1.66", the neck depth is .94"-1.02" at the 1st and 12th frets resspectively.  It's a chunky U carve.  The single line Kluson tuners with vintage ferrules are a nice bonus.  The humbuckers are wide ranging and versatile with a moody and growly neck pickup and crisp bridge pickups.   Nice tonalities with a lot of veratility.
