Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a super cool 1981 Aria Pro II ES-700 Semihollow with a rare Walnut stain with great sounding humbuckers.  This is a very uncommon Walnut stain model with the "WA"designation and the open book Gibson style headstock.  This model was never intended for export to the USA and was sold only in Japan, so they essentially made an ES-335 with a mahogany neck, top, back, sides and a Rosewood fretboard with nibs.  They even included a volute to complete the package.

The nut measures 1.62", fret depth is .81"-.94" on a medium C Norlin carve.  Freshly polished frets exhibit very little wear and play cleanly up and down the fretboard on a Gibson 24.75" scale with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Low action, perfect intonation, working truss rod, and a fresh set of nickel 10-46 and this baby is ready for action.  The Humbuckers sound like my old Gibson ES335 CRR with Dirty fingers.  Great cleans with the volume rolled off, aggressive drive with it dimed. 12.96 ohms neck, 13 ohms bridge.

It comes safely packed in the classy vintage canvas gig bag.  8.14 lbs.
