Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a killer Aria Pro II SB R-80 Bass from 1982.   The Aria Pro basses were revered by rock and metal bassists for a couple decades.  Metallica and many other groups feature AP II's holding down the bottom end on iconic tracks like Master of Puppets.  It's a familiar 34" scale on a Sen Ash body and a 5 piece laminated neck through center to lock down all the sustain one could muster.  It's a passive electronics and you get a 3 way selector, 2 concentric Volume/Tone pots, and a tone contour switch for each pickup.

The nut measures 1.70", the fret depth is .89"-1.04" on a chunky C profile.  The truss rod works as it should, and there is no wonkiness to the neck or fretboard.  We gave her a level and dress so she plays cleanly up and down the fretboard with no issues.  She came to us with an old unrepaired neck crack.  We were able to force an ample amount of glue into the crack, clamp it up tight and now she's rock solid.  There's a little leveling and it's relatively smooth.  It's a solid repair that we stand behind.  10.04 pounds.  Comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos.
