Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super rare Charvel Model 1C by Jackson/Charvel Made in Japan in excellent condition and 100% original including the Charvel branded original gig bag and the Charvel quick lock strap. These models were only made for about a year and were sold exclusively in the Japanese domestic market. Very uncommon outside their country of origin. This beautiful axe has received a full professional setup in our shop including a deep cleaning, fret level and dress with a high polish, and electronics cleaning. It's a complete package and a fine piece of kit.
These beauties feature a Basswood body, a Canadian Maple neck, and the ultra desirable Maple fretboard. The Jackson J-100/J-90C HSS pickups are regulated with a master volume and a tone control with a 5-way selector. They are articulate, punchy, and full. It's a great tonal palette with a ton of versatility.
The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .77"-.89" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25.5" Scale, 7.95 lbs, and a 10"-20" compound radius. There are very few scratches and small dings as pictured. The back of the neck is smooth and ready for shredding. Action is set at 1.7mm low E, 1.5 high E. Action can be lowered to "low as it can go without buzzing..." with no issues. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or buzzing.
