Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Charvel Super Dinky HH model SDK085 with a sublime amber finish over a bold grained Ash body. These Chusin Gakki made axes were made in Japan and sold exclusively in the Japanese domestic market. They are very uncommon outside of Japan. Featuring a solid Ash body, Canadian Maple neck, and the killer Jackson J60 and J50 pickup set yiels a very articulate and full sound. Also spec'd out with the Floyd Rose licensed, Takauchi made FLC-101 tremolo system that keeps everything locked down and in tune.
The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .74"-.80" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's your standard thin shredder D neck profile with a deep access heel joint to provide excellent access all the way up the the last fret. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 25" scale, 7.95 lbs, and a 14" radius. It received a full professional service and setup in our workshop including a deep cleaning, fret level, dress and high polish, and a complete electronics cleaning. It's perfectly intonated with Ernie Ball 9-42 Super Slinky nickel strings. There is over $250 worth of professional services here. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. It
