Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean Charvel Jackson King V Model CKV-068 Made in Japan in the 2000's. These affordable versions of the big brother feature a Poplar body and a Maple bolt on neck with a Rosewood fretboard. The proprietary Charvel C-60 and C-90 humbuckers are impressively articulate and the one volume knob keeps everything under control. The Charvel branded Floyd Rose system keeps everything locked down and in tune.
The nut measures 1.64", neck depth is .79"-.81" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a svelte shredder C profile. Perfectly intonated and locked down Ernie Ball regular Slinky 10's. It received a deep cleaning, fret level, crown and high polish for a smooth playing experience (a $250 value). 25.5" scale, 14" radius, 7.37 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches and dings and small neck pocket cracks as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the branded padded gig bag in the photos. A $90 option at the time.
