Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Charvel Randy Rhodes V Model CRR that was made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is a non-catalog model. Charvel made the CRR model in Japan and specs varied from year to year. We think this is a rare variant that features a metal pickguard, 2V, 1T and a 3 way toggle. The unmarked original pickups read 9.12k ohms at the neck and .9.68k ohms at the bridge. It has a Charvel branded Floyd Rose Licensed locking trem with the string through feature. Really nice player with a pro setup. Comes with the original gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .76"-.84" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the slim C Charvel carve that shredders love. 25.5" scale, 16" radius, 7.3 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio XT 10-46 nickel strings and low action at 1.5mm and 1.0mm. The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches, dings, and color fills as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Trem Arm and knobs are not original.
