Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare top tier Yamano Gakki Epiphone by Gibson Les Paul Standard model LPS-85F with a Foto Flame top and the open book headstock.  These are considered the best of the Epiphone Les Pauls and superior to some Gibson models.  These were crafted at the Fujigen factory in a partnership with Yamano Gakki and Gibson and feature a solid Mahogany body, a carved Maple top, a long neck tenon and a Gravure "Foto Flame" top.  Great pickups read 7.48k ohms at the neck and 7.43 at the bridge and it's no mistake they read in the exact same range of Gibsons Patent Number pickups that defined the sound over three decades.  And it weighs only 8.5 lbs.

The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .87"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.   It's a wonderful full C carve like a V3 59 profile.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.5 lbs.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel XLs, the action is set at a low 4/64" and 3/64".  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.  The toggle switch has been replaced.
